The simple explanation is that yet undiscovered universal gases with a low atomic weight are compressing Galactic gases of Hydrogen which compress the Heliospheric gases of Helium with the smaller in size and lighter in atomic weight atoms than our atmosphere. The Helium gas filled Heliosphere extends about 11.3 trillion miles out from the Sun giving it a much greater overall weight than our atmosphere. Helium is prevented from expanding because it has more atomic weight and decreased air pressure than Hydrogen. The Heliosphere’s 11.3 trillion mile diameter gives the Helium mass and is exerting pressure that is completely surrounding Earth’s atmospheric gases of Oxygen and Nitrogen with a compressing pressure of one ton per square foot. Gravity is NOT holding our atmosphere as we can now see it’s the natural Helium gas ceiling of the Heliosphere which cannot be penetrated by Earth’s atmosphere, hemispheric pressure of 14.7 ppsi., Earth’s spin and its 0.3 degree tilt per day or 90 degree travel from North to South..
Low-pressure (1.45 pounds per square inch) interplanetary gases of Hydrogen (1 atomic mass unit), Helium (4 atomic mass units), etc. are compressing and keeping Earth’s high atmospheric air pressure of 14.7 pounds per square inch (760mmHg) of oxygen and nitrogen down not gravity. Earth produced atmospheric gases of Oxygen and Nitrogen are kept from rising through the Sun produced Helium gas pockets of the Heliosphere. A cubic foot of compressed atmospheric gases weigh 1ounce. When dissipated, they would cover a vast area and could only be measured by atomic weight. Interplanetary gases with an air pressure less than Earth’s are keeping the Earth’s atmospheric gases from rising through the smaller, lighter ceiling of Helium atoms contained within the Heliosphere. The atmosphere contains breathable air of 19% Oxygen and 79% Nitrogen. The Helium-filled Heliosphere completely surrounds it and exerts pressure from all sides at 14.7 lb. per sq. in. giving the Earth its gravity. Gases with close atomic numbers will mix, but they will never compound. All these gases are completely surrounded by galactic gases of Hydrogen which is completely surrounded by even lighter yet to be analyzed universal gases, each of which keeps the larger atom oxygen and nitrogen atmospheric gases from expanding beyond their natural ceiling of Helium.
Gravity is not “gas selective”. It can’t differentiate between one gas and another and so should attract all gases alike but it doesn’t. In Earth’s atmosphere gravity doesn’t attract Hydrogen, Methane, Helium, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Chlorine, Fluorine, Neon or any of the Noble gases because gravity does not attract gas. Why? Gases of similar atomic weights like Oxygen, discovered by Joseph Priestly and Nitrogen will mix together but not combine and originate from Earth. Hydrogen and Helium gases with great differences in atomic weight than Oxygen and Nitrogen will become a natural ceiling for the heavier gases. Oxygen (Phlogiston) and Hydrogen are a perfect example of gases not mixing. They will not mix together but will settle in layers with the lightest atomic weight Hydrogen expanding to the top of a column as is in nature. We’re taught that 75% of the universe beyond the solar systems is Hydrogen and 25% is Helium. The AP Theory disagrees and predicts a gas lighter in atomic weight and smaller in size will be discovered beyond the galaxies. This is what will be described as “ Universal Gas”, dark energy, dark matter or gas X.
